There are places where sadness grows
and anxiety abounds.
Prisoners become fed up
bearing a way of living they haven't asked for.
Time falls like a slab
they're not going to stand.
Gone mad and battered:
left at the mercy of their tyrannical owners,
and seen as a fair choice of leisure.
Zoos, aquaria... The real hell lives on.
